Should you Align Joins Vertically when Fusing Glass?

Stacking joins vertically when fusing glass seems to be a concern for some artists. Because of this concern, I thought it necessary to address it specifically.

To do this I’ll show you a number of projects where I have don’t do this very thing. You can then decided for yourself if this is a good practice or not.
