This piece of dark blue dichroic fused glass was hand cut into a long cushion shape. While it is dark, rich blue splashes do make it a beautiful and mysterious piece.
The process involved includes 360 grit diamond wheels and a glass kiln for fire polishing at the end.
I’m using lapidary techniques to cut and shape this cabochon, but using a kiln to do the final polish. The video contains all instructions, including the fire polish schedule.
