Drop-Out Bowl That Surprised – Fused Glass Tutorial

One fused glass project I’ve never tried before is making a drop-out bowl, or vase, using a drop-out mould/ring. So this is a learning experience for me. The principle is simple; put a thick slab of glass on top, fire it until it softens, and slumps through the hole. What can go wrong!

Restoring a Chipped Fused Glass Plate, Project Tutorial

Glass Fusing Project

In this video, I’ll be restoring a black and white plate. It has a small chip and the owner requested a polished rather than matte finish. This means we have to flatten it, polish it and then slump it back into its original shape.
